The AI Duet is a content platform at the intersection of Chinese AI and global markets.

Singapore is where Chinese AI founders land first when going global — and increasingly, where American AI companies enter Asia. Both sides are curious about each other. Both need to understand how the other ecosystem works. But there's no good English-language source for the Chinese side of this story.

The AI Duet fills that gap — with the perspective that only comes from being deeply embedded in both worlds.

About Ellen

I focus on AI entrepreneurship and going global. Before Singapore, I worked in a USD VC fund in Beijing, where I spent years working with founders and understanding how Chinese technology companies think about growth, capital, and international markets. I studied International Relations and Economics at Peking University and was an early TEDx China ambassador.

In Singapore, I cold-started a global Chinese social app as co-founder, and now I work with AI entrepreneurs who have global vision and markets. I produce 离线时间, a Chinese-language podcast where I sit down with Chinese AI founders in Singapore and dig into their frontline experience building for the world. The AI Duet is the English-language platform where those insights — and my own independent analysis — reach a wider audience.
